organizations. Below is a list
of organizations we have worked
with in the past. We invite any
non-profit to request our help
and we will do all we can to
spare some time and resources.
Junior Achievement
Highland Multimedia has
volunteered four times since 2005 with the
Economics of Staying In School.
A program that seeks to get
young people thinking about
careers and how choices made
today can have a significant
impact on the reality of
tomorrow. This program is
usually delivered via two people
from the business community
to class of grade nine students
in the local high school.

Childhood Intervention Program
In April of 2008 Highland
Multimedia was able to lend its
help by donating a gift
certificate worth $200 to the
annual Ham & Bean Supper and
Auction.

Our company worked with the up
and coming professionals at ACE
St.F.X to provide consulting
advice as well as a full web

Antigonish Women's Resource
Centre
Highland Multimedia helped
recreate the local Women's
Centre web site on a budget that
they could afford with all the
features they needed to make the
page a valuable part of there
information sharing strategy.

Depression Support Group
Since 1999 James Smeaton,
creative director of Highland
Multimedia has volunteered his
time with the Depression Support
Group. During his time with the
organization James has fully
re-designed their web presence
twice, and also helped with
various print promotions.

This local organization needed

When requested to be a guest
speaker for a junior business
class at the local Port
Hawkesbury campus James designed
a presentation entitled "Future
Trends In Internet Marketing"
and delivered an informative
discussion on up and coming

Highland Multimedia
developed RentAntigonish.ca in
the fall of 2006 and has offered
a free text ad space to any
local not-for-profit to promote
themselves and their website.

Antigonish Voices
While currently inactive, James
Smeaton volunteered his time to
consult and create a logo, and
website for an online strategy
to promote the group largely
dedicated to preserving a
grocery store in down town
Antigonish.
2007 Antigonish Winter Games
Bid
When Antigonish was preparing an
offer for the Winter Games they
needed a no-cost partner to help
developed a website to
compliment their offer, Highland
Multimedia was happy to
volunteer.
May Fest 2006
James had a great time
simply volunteering his time to
work the mini-put with the
annual charity drive for our
hospital. |
