We are a unique creative design company that was created by artist
John Littlejohn, and artist Rick Murphy, more
information on artists
can be found throughout the site. D3 artists have been creating
together since 1991 and pride itself in the conservation and
preservation of public artwork. Throughout the site you will have an
opportunity to visit our online art gallery, view the artwork and educate yourself
about the different projects and commissions that we have completed,
as well you will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes and
get information on artists
from D3, and some of the things we are currently involved in. We are
a company that prides itself in producing creative endeavors from
concept to completion.
As
you navigate through the site, some of the work that you will see in
the online art gallery
includes a professional commission for Coca-Cola, which is on
permanent public display in the oldest operating hockey arena in the
world Galt Arena Gardens.
Other commissions that we’ve completed include
paintings for the North Atlantic Aviation Museum in Gander
Newfoundland, and a chronological walk through Cambridge Ontario’s
Sports Hall of Fame.
We are currently involved in developing
educational projects with Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC),
and Youth Services Canada (YSC), where youth from other provinces
travel to our studio to gain work experience, art training, and
creating artistic historical paintings using events and people from
their hometown. These pieces can be viewed in our
online art gallery,
return with the participants and are unveiled in their communities.
